The Manufacturing Data Steward will be responsible for the global standards and governance of master data that supports the manufacturing processes, including manufacturing, site specific planning and site specific purchasing data. The Steward will be responsible for certifying the work processes for master data maintenance and the implementation of operational governance best practices for Keurig.  Because most of our master data is shared, and in many cases maintained by one organization while used by others, the Manufacturing Data Steward will work closely with various Keurig organizations to drive improvement of overall data quality.  The Manufacturing Data Steward’s main objective is aligning people, process, policy, and technology to ensure data is secure, accessible, and trusted.


What you will do:

  • Maintain expertise on overall use of data, including the global data dictionary
  • Facilitate governance over subsets of data to ensure quality across business processes through collaboration with Data Stewards
  • Work with cross functional business teams to understand changing business requirements and impacts to master data
  • Assist with troubleshooting of data related issues
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements, documentation, and policies
  • Responsible for adherence to standards and controls, data quality, problem management, and change management requests
  • Develop tools to improve data gathering & communication effectiveness
  • Support network of Site Data Stewards to drive understanding of master data systems and work processes
  • Work with Site Data Stewards to establish synergies, standardization & best practices
  • Define, administer, document and educate on data systems, standards, and work processes
  • Regularly review, measure and report on manufacturing master data quality
  • Enhance work process designs, rule sets, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Facilitate change management, issue management, and approval processes
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts, monitor ongoing results, define process areas for review, and conduct benchmarking activities to ensure best in class results for data management best practices





What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology or related concentration
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a master data management organization which includes a data governance program
  • Expertise in data standards and controls to support data quality
  • Experience in process management including process definition, design, mapping, and documentation
  • Must be able to influence direction, approach and data quality decisions across multiple levels of the organization
  • Strong collaboration and written/verbal communication skills
  • Solid understanding of business operations and Enterprise Resource Planning technology platforms
  • Ability to solve problems, direct work of others, manage projects, and apply analytical skills
  • Ability to follow Keurig policies and procedures
