Position Responsibilities: The position is responsible for providing solutions to support recruitment and retention initiatives and business challenges within the Division of Member and Client Services and other divisions throughout the ADA. The position provides highly detailed data analysis to support membership outreach goals, and assists with membership marketing research initiatives by building, deploying and monitoring the responses of member surveys and membership marketing concept testing. This position also supports the Membership Recruitment and Retention Plan by collecting and analyzing key membership segment data, preparing high-level dashboards to measure impact, developing marketing lists for use in direct communications to members and nonmembers and providing direct support to staff in Client Services, and serves as a resource to IT regarding data procedures and data governance issues.    

Requirements: 

  • A BS/BA in business, communications or related major.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in managing and analyzing data to support marketing initiatives.

    • Previous work experience must include the ability to identify and track data in key customer segments, develop high-level dashboards and determine ROI, implement and monitor the impact of third-party data utilized to enhance marketing segmentation and communications, and produce and field membership surveys and marketing concept tests. 

  • Database management with query and report generation experience.

  • Excellent oral/written communications, analytical, problem-solving, project management and multi-tasking skills.

  • Knowledge of the development and deployment of surveys and concept testing.

  • High-energy self-starter with a strong sense of accountability. 

  • Must have strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to collaborate with many levels of staff and build and maintain relationships. 

  • Strong customer service and team orientation. 

  • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.

  • Some travel is required.

Highly desirable skills include:  

  • Experience in a non-profit association, market research, public speaking and providing support for volunteer councils, committees and other agencies.
