This highly visible position located at our Ewing, NJ Headquarters is for a Master Data Steward. The Master Data Steward is responsible for the creation, maintenance and continuous improvement of master data to support Church and Dwight s North American businesses. The role has responsibility for working closely with functional groups to ensure that master data is analyzed, controlled, entered and released into business systems in a timely manner, as dictated by standard operating procedures and guidelines within the functions and businesses supported. The role includes proactive collaboration with data owners/requestors to ensure clarity to ensure completeness.


Responsibilities: What you'll do:


Create, maintain, monitor and analyze master data in ERP and/or other integrated solutions in compliance with established service levels. Implements MDM practices, policies and standards adopted by the company. Ensure and enhance data quality and train users to ensure continuity of results. Provide creative yet logical approaches to solving data problems utilizing established global and regulatory rules. Identifies areas of specific master data weakness and suggests methods of improvement to Manager of EDM. Maintains policies and procedures to ensure uniform, accurate, and consistent data are present in support of SOX audit requirements. Provide testing support for upgrades and releases, including integration testing from various sources to target systems.


Qualifications: What you'll need:


Education and Experience: Bachelor s Degree in Business preferred or equivalent experience 1 3 years experience with master data management in an ERP system is preferred Basic understanding of CPG manufacturing process is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Skills and Competencies: Good understanding of fundamental business processes and the effect of data downstream. Strong attention to detail with optimal organizational skills; focus on teamwork and follow-up. Logical, process-based approach to problem solving with an ability to learn and apply new information. Priority setting, organization, and project management skills. Ability to clearly communicate with a positive, professional attitude both in writing and orally. Capacity to work autonomously on multiple initiatives in a lean, fast paced, and action-oriented environment. Demonstrated ability in building relationships with stakeholders and influencing key decision makers within business functions supported as it pertains to managing master data within the company
